We are running a joint working group on dynamic treatment regimes between the METHODS team of the CRESS and the Missing Values and Causality Group.
Abstract: WThe aim of this talk, inspired by the first part of chapter 5 of the book Dynamic Treatment Regimes (Tsiatis), is to look at the estimators of the value for a fixed treatment regime. We will review the identification assumptions, derive the identification formula of the value for multiple decision points then we will talk about the G-computation, the Inverse probability weighted estimators and the Augmented inverse probability weighted estimators.
Abstract: Working through a practical example, we’ll discuss the issues faced when applying DTR to real-world data and the potential pitfalls to avoid.
Abstract: The aim of this talk is to define what DTRs are and present some of the concepts underlying their study.
